The Art Association in Roxbury will be holding its monthly meeting on Thursday, May 1st at 7:15 pm at the Roxbury Senior Center, 72 Eyland Avenue,Succasunna, NJ.
The meeting will be followed by a watercolor demonstration by EileenNiebisch, a multi-stylistic artist, who uses various techniques in watercolor, acrylic layers and collage to capture the essence of different subjects and theme. Her unique style has evolved from studying since 1972 with many well-known master artists in workshops all over the country and at the Art Students League in New York. Her creations incorporate floral and landscape themes to convey a spiritual awareness and deep love for God and His majestic creations. Her artistry is revealed in the organic abstracts as one observes the Yin and Yang of color, contrast, shapes and inspirational text messages that have become her legacy and motivation.
In addition to several one woman shows, Eileen regularly participates in Regional juried exhibitions where she has won numerous awards of Best in Show as well as Awards of Merit. Commissions and private tutoring fill her busy travel schedule. Her paintings are in many private collections in North and South America as well as Europe.
The program is open to everyone. Admission is free and refreshments are served. For further information, please call:
