Brundage Park Playhouse on Carrell Road in Randolph, NJ is pleased to
announce Auditions for our upcoming production of SEE HOW THEY RUN for
our 2014 Season.
Auditions will be held on Monday, February 10th and Wednesday, February
12th, from 7-9 PM at the playhouse.

Set in the quaint English village of Merton-Cum-Middlewick, this
hilarious play will have the audience in stitches the entire time. The
vicar, his wife, their maid and other assorted and sometimes unsavory
visitors combine in this zany, madcap romp that is English comedy at its
best. Brundage Park Playhouse is delighted to present this old school
The roles are:
Ida – (Maid, 20’s) – Plain but likeable. Somewhat sassy. Cockney accent.
Miss Skillon – (Spinster, 30’s – 50’s) – Large, sour-faced church lady,
always meddling in other peoples affairs.
Reverend Toop – (Minister, 30’s – 40’s) – Average build, pleasant, but a
Penelope Toop – (Vicar’s Wife – Late 20’s – Mid 30’s) – American. Former
stage actress. Pretty and vivacious. Full of energy and enthusiasm.
Corporal Clive Winton – (Airmen, Late 20’s – Early 30’s) – American
Airmen. Handsome. Former stage actor. Full of energy, and very
Man/Intruder – (Escaped Russian Spy – 20’s – 40’s) – Average size.
Sneaky. Able to impersonate others.
Bishop Of Lax – (Visiting Bishop – 40’s – 60’s) – Large, jovial man of
middle age. Penelope’s Uncle.
Reverend Humphries – (Visiting Minister – Late 20’s – Early 40’s) – Mild
little man, soft spoken and friendly
Sgt. Towers – (Local Authority – Age is open) – Loud, bumbling, likeable
All the roles require some movement, as this is a very fast paced,
Bring picture and resume if available. Auditioners will be asked to read
from sides that will be provided.
