ROXBURY TWP.  — Roxbury Board of Education President Theresa D’Agostino was honored as a Certified Board Leader by New Jersey School Boards Association representatives at the May 19 board meeting. D’Agostino was recognized for having reached the highest level as a Board Member, and, for all of the accomplishments she has achieved. Out of 4,800 school board members in the state of New Jersey, D’Agostino is only one of 13 individuals to attain Certified Board Member status. She achieved the required 60 credits necessary for certification by attending classes offered by the New Jersey School Boards Association. Superintendent of Schools Patrick Tierney presented D’Agostino with a bouquet of flowers as she received a well-deserved round of applause.
