Delighting music lovers nearly everywhere since 1972, the Trolley has appeared at Manhattan’s Red Blazer, the New Jersey Jazz Society’s annual Pee Wee Memorial Stomp in Princeton, the Medford Jazz Jubilee in Oregon and the Cape May Jazz Festival at the Jersey shore. Their unique mixture of music and the upbeat atmosphere that they create make them the perfect entertainment. for a multitude of events.
Get ready to hear some joyous jazz – humorous, adventuer-some and often irreverent. This band swings hard, but treats ballads with sensitivity, exhibiting both musical discipline and freedom. The “Trolley” mixes great versatility and fine musicianship with wonderful creativity. The result: A TRULY UNIQUE SOUND!
The “Trolley” is comprised of an array of musicians hailing from the New York metropolitan area. They have all had extensive playing experience with various venues and styles from classical to jazz. They share one common bond, to work as a unit and play the music they love. That love will lead them through many styles and periods with the result being many outstanding performances. Enjoy!
