Hopatcong Kindergarten Teachers Attend Seminar
The Kindergarten teaching staff at Hudson Maxim School had the opportunity to attend a Kindergarten seminar on research-based best practices for teachers and administrators. The seminar was a 5 part series focused on supporting teachers in organizing classroom environments and schedules, implementing developmentally-appropriate practices, incorporating a new Common Core State Standards and Assessments, and applying effective teaching strategies that support children’s development and learning. Mrs. Tracey Hensz, Hudson Maxim Principal and Dr. Joanne Mullane, Director of Curriculum and Elementary Education attended as well.
