The Morris County Historical Society offers a memorable Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11 from 1-4 pm when it hosts Patricia Sanftner for a special lecture on American Brilliant Cut Glass at 1:30 pm, followed by a dessert reception in Acorn Hall’s dining room. Tours of Acorn Hall are also included in the event’s admission fee. Ms. Sanftner is guest curator for the new MCHS exhibit “Sharp Edges, Brilliant Cut Glass through the Centuries” opening early May through June 8, 2014. Please reserve your seat by calling 973-267-3465. Admission is $10 for MCHS members, $15 for non-MCHS members, and children under age 12 are Free. The admission price may be applied toward membership with the MCHS. The Oak Leaf Gallery gift shop will also be available for Mother’s Day shopping.
