MOUNT OLIVE TWP. (April 9, 2014) – Facebook remains a valuable tool for businesses, when used right.
The second in a series of three consecutive Lunch ‘n Learn events that focus on social media, hosted by the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce, targets Facebook and how to use it more effectively in business.
The Facebook Lunch ‘n Learn event takes place on April 22 and will be held at the Mount Olive Public Library. Presenter David Deutsch of SynergiSocial is the featured speaker for this luncheon. Deutsch is the owner/founder of SynergiSocial, which offers comprehensive social media training and consulting services, focusing on today’s leaders with minimal social media exposure.
The meeting is open to the business community at-large, as well as the general public. Cost is $25 for members, $30 for non-members – save $5 by pre-paying during registration. The third luncheon in the series will take place on May 27 and focus on Networking.

Meanwhile, Marketing in the Morning, a complimentary benefit to members of the Chamber, in association with the Hackettstown Business Improvement District, takes place the 3rd Wednesday morning of every month from 7:15 to 9 a.m. Marketing in the Morning has consistently drawn over 55 business people a month and has had over 250 different businesses attend the monthly meeting over the past three years. The Chamber also provides a monthly program for the area Young Professionals to meet and network which meets the 2nd Thursday each month at a variety of locations. The May meeting is a special event – SPEED NETWORKING and will be held at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics in Flanders starting promptly at 6 p.m. on May 8. Cost is $20 per person which includes a light dinner. The Young Professionals Group is intended for professionals 40 and under, but also open to any business person
