On December 6th, after the Tree Lighting Event, the Mount Olive Lions Club presented a check for $2000. to Mayor Rob Greenbaum.  This check is to be used to help those in need in our community.  Mount Olive Lions Club has been in existance for over 40 years and all its members are volunteers who give their time and efforts to help others.  The Lions motto is “We Serve” and the Mt Olive Lion Club takes this motto very seriously!  They have served our community in many capacities–through free eye screening for Mt Olive children, providing eye glasses for local needy children and senior citizens, giving over 1000 bullet proof vests through the years to the Mt Olive Police, providing scholarships for Mt Olive HS seniors and always helping those in need in the community.

If you are interested in joining the Mt Olive Lions Club or wish to make a donation, please contact Barbara Sanders, VP of the Mt Olive Lions Club (973) 584-6393
