Turn Your Hobbies & Interests into a Profit
Mount Olive, NJ – Residents in and around Mount Olive rely on the Mount Olive Recreation Department for a wide variety of activities and programming for all ages. As we move into 2014 Mount Olive Recreation is seeking to expand their instructional programming even further.
“I know we have a lot of talented people in the community who are seeking opportunities to share their talents and interests,” stated Recreation Supervisor Jill Daggon.

Individuals interested in sharing their passion, training and/or experience are encouraged to submit a course proposal for consideration beginning in Spring of 2014. Course proposal forms are available through Mount Olive Recreation 973-691-0900 x7261 or by emailJDaggon@MtOliveTwp.org. Give the Gift of Play
Fundraising Continue for Mount Playmore
Mount Olive, NJ – As we welcome the season of shiny wrapping, oversized bows and wide-eyed children Mount Olive Recreation has a wonderful idea for a different form of gift this year. There is no greater gift that we can give our children than play, the foundation of happy memories and healthy activity. Supporting Mount Playmore, the new playground to be built in Spring of 2014 at Turkey Brook Park, is a wonderful way to directly engage in your community and give your children a gift this holiday season that will enhance their childhood and live forever in their memories.
Mount Playmore will replace the small existing playground at Turkey Brook Park with a spectacular dream playground designed by our children and brought to reality with the expertise of a Leathers and Associates playground architect. Leathers and Associates are the same designers used to create Imagination Station in Roxbury, NJ.
Think of the pride your child will feel when they see the new playground and better yet they see their family’s name listed on the donor board or engraved on a fence post. They will know each and every time they enjoy Mount Playmore that their family helped to build it.
Sponsorship of Mount Playmore ranges from $50 for an engraved fence picket to $2000 for a major component like swings. All opportunities can be viewed and sponsored through the Mount Olive Recreation web page:www.mountolivetownship.com/recreation.html.
All funds received will go directly towards the building of and materials for Mount Playmore. With your generosity, Mount Playmore can enrich the quality of life for present and future generations of children and be an essential part of a healthy childhood for all families living in Mount Olive, a gift of immeasurable value.
