The Evening Membership Department (EMD) of the Long Valley Women’s Club is preparing for their 25th anniversary on May 14, 2014 at the Schooley’s Mountain Fire Prevention Center. The community is welcome from 7-9pm for light refreshments and a commemorative program. The EMD is a non profit group of working women who meet the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month. They are known for many fundraisers to help community services and are open to new members. They participate with the LV First Aid Squad Auxiliary selling hot dogs, chili, hamburgers, drink, and desserts in October and have a Chili Cookoff at the Schooley’s Mountain Fire Prevention Center in February.
