HACKETTSTOWN, NJ [June 13, 2014]— There will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown on Saturday, June 28 to support the Eagle Scout project of 16-year-old Bobby Trinneer. He is a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 158 in Hackettstown and a sophomore at Hackettstown High School, where he is active in football, wrestling, and golf.
The dinner fundraiser incudes spaghetti and meatballs with salad, bread, drinks and desert for a donation of $5 for children, $8 for adults, or $25 for a family of up to 5. Guests are welcome to come to dinner at any time between 5:00pm and 8:00pm on the 28th. Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 213 Main Street in Hackettstown; ample parking is available behind the church from the Maple Avenue entrance.
Trinneer was the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 158 for over two years and is now President of Venture Crew 198, a Den Chief with Cub Scout Pack 164, and a member of the Order of the Arrow—the honor society for Scouting. He spoke at the Warren County Good Scout Award Reception in May to recognize individuals who have helped the local community.
The Eagle Scout project will be a 90-foot by 3-foot meandering stone pathway at Trinity UMC in Hackettstown that will also feature two benches for fellowship and relaxation. The pathway will give parishioners a safe, short route to the front of the church from the parking lot, while also providing an appealing landscape from Main Street.
