The Irish Famine, also known as The Great Hunger, changed the course of history, not just in Ireland but for the entire world. Come to the Roxbury Public Library on Tuesday, March 11 at 7PM, when Maureen Quinn will discuss the cause of The Great Hunger concentrating on the five years from 1845-1850 when most of the devastation occurred and how this event impacted Ireland, North America and Australia.
