Seven Roxbury High School students successfully auditioned for and were accepted into the American Choral Directors Association National Honors Choir. This prestigious ensemble is comprised of the top high school and collegiate singers in the entire United States.
Congratulations to Seniors Bryan Gonzalez, Ian Hachey, Austin Kurbansade, Ivan Largo, and Jacob Wood along with Junior Matthew Malsbury and Sophomore Joseph Negron on this outstanding accomplishment.
The students will be performing at the American Choral Directors Association National Conference in Kansas City, Missouri from February 27th-March 2nd. They will be under the direction of Dr. Jefferson Johnson, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Kentucky.
The American Choral Directors Association is a national organization founded in 1959 to serve the professional needs of all choir directors.
