In order to ensure continuity of public safety, Woodland Park Mayor Kazmark swore in Capt. John Uzzalino as Acting Chief of Police on March 20. John has led the Woodland Park Police Department since Chief Eileen Tiernan’s retirement a few weeks earlier. He has also been instrumental in the town-wide response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, along with the other members of the team.
