Alzheimer’s 101…What You Should Know At NCJW/Essex Center for Women in February 

The Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women welcomes Geriatric Care Manager Shelley Steiner, LSW, Education and Outreach Coordinator for Alzheimer’s New Jersey on Tuesday February 5th from 10:30 AM to 12 noon for a comprehensive overview of everything Alzheimer’s and memory loss. If you are interested to learn about these matters and other forms of dementia, this is one workshop not to be missed. Treatment options, risk factors,
warning signs, planning for the future, coping with behavioral and other changes, and accessing community resources will be reviewed.


This program will be held at the Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women in Livingston, 70 South Orange Avenue, Suite 120. Registration is required and open to all women in the community. Workshops are free for members of NCJW, and $7 per workshop for non-members. 

The Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women is a nonsectarian, nonprofit community service sponsored by the NCJW Essex County Section that works to improve the quality of life for women, children, families, and the elderly through a variety of nonsectarian services including peer support groups, legal and financial consultations, job development, and women’s workshops.  Lesley Greenstein of Summit is President of NCJW/Essex, and Paula Green of South Orange is Vice President of the Center for Women.
