Whippany Park High School proudly congratulates Andrea Ritacco for being named the Morris County Teacher of the Year by the New Jersey Department of Education! A 13-year member of the business education department, Mrs. Ritacco teaches courses ranging from personal finance to College Level Examination Program (CLEP) accounting. She is also the adviser of our school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter where she has mentored three
state-level officers and several national competitors including one national champion. A role model for all students seeking a career in business, her passion has encouraged countless students to discover their own career goals within the field. As one of only 21 teachers recognized in the state, Mrs. Ritacco will network with educators throughout the state and serve as an ambassador for New Jersey’s public schools during the
upcoming school year. As Governor Phil Murphy remarks, “The quality of our schools is driven in no small part through the strength of our teaching workforce, represented by these County Teachers of the Year. It’s no wonder New Jersey public schools are among the best in the nation.” Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Mrs. Ritacco!
