Bear Scouts Help Clean Up Sandshore Playground

Bear Scouts from Pack 62, Sandshore School, are currently working on their Paws for Action advancement. They wanted to give back to the community and Sandshore School by cleaning up around the playground area at their recent den meeting. During their meeting, the scouts also discussed emergency preparedness and prepared a list of emergency phone numbers for them to keep in a safe convenient place for quick use.
Next on their list to assist in completing their advancement is a visit to the MOPD where they will learn about how the department works and take a tour of the facilities. They were able to get a mini tour of the MOPD jail in November when Pack 62 provided the officers with a full Thanksgiving Dinner. The Scouts will also learn the importance of our men and women in blue and have their fingerprints taken.
