Green Brook Country Club’s Book Club helps organize book club events with New York Times Best-selling authors. Tess Gerritsen plans to present her medical thriller novel “Playing With Fire,” June 30th, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m, at Green Brook Country Club in North Caldwell.
Internationally best-selling, Tess Gerritsen took an unusual route to a writing career. A graduate of Stanford University, Tess went on to medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. Tess composed the music for the theme of “Playing with Fire” and readers of this event will be fortunate to enjoy this composition. Tess Gerritsen, was apparently a gifted child, whose parents were Chinese American Immigrants who brought up Tess in a “Tiger Mom” fashion. Her books have been published in 40 countries, and more than 30 million copies have been sold around the world.
Non-members are welcome to attend.A fee will be charged to attend this event and will include lunch, a presentation by the author, a question and answer period, a book signing, and an invitation to a private author book chat.
