Grand Opening July 2019

Local resident and founder of Teacher Tutors, Debra Kirchen, M.A.Ed, is opening the Brainiax enrichment center for toddlers and pre-K through 8th grade students.

Brainiax will offer innovative learning concepts and content in a fun and engaging manner.

“We believe creative, curious minds will embrace our innovative Brainiax programs.”    

Brainiax will offer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), which inspires creators, thinkers, problem-solvers and innovators. They also offer Makerspace: creative, hands-on ways to design, experiment and invent via science, engineering and tinkering.  

The brand-new center features a Lego couch built by Livingston families as well as a Rube Goldberg-inspired tower.

Registration is open for summer 2019 Mini-Camp programs as well as a six-week Summer Toddler and Pre-K program at www.BrainiaxNJ.com.

Mini-Camp programs include designing an LED-enhanced quilt patch, creating a mini robot, learning how to code a robot to dunk baskets and bowl as well as building a balloon-powered Lego car.

Brainiax Fall 2019 courses will include a Mechanical Lego Builders program, Rube Goldberg design course and an introduction to entrepreneurship.

Their flagship company, Teacher Tutors, is based on the founder’s experience as an NJ and NYC educator. The company is dedicated to matching families with quality educators in order to provide homework help, tutoring and individualized test prep in order to help students excel. 

Teacher Tutors has conducted after-school enrichments at Riker Hill, Collins and Mount Pleasant elementary schools. They have also led half-day activities at Collin Elementary School. 

Teacher Tutors provides in-home instruction by Expert and Master Educators across eleven counties in New Jersey. Services are now available at Brainiax with the addition of academic coaching and counseling.
