Century 21 Cedarcrest Realty in Caldwell held a year-end awards breakfast to recognize eight of its real estate agents who were top performers for 2015. John Sass, owner/broker of Century 21 Cedarcrest Realty, brought the office together for a celebratory breakfast on Jan. 21 to share the team’s accomplishments. The eight agents sold a combined total sales volume of $65 million in homes sold last year. They are Frank Conturso, Lisa Verhagen, Sue McGarrity, Rich Pantini, Andrew Spano, Jr., John Davis, Jr, Bruno Marino, Jr. and Efrain Alameda.

“Every year our people get better and better, thanks in part to the strong relationships they build over the years with home buyers and sellers,” said Sass. “Our customers are so appreciative of how easy we make the home buying and home selling experience, and they show that appreciation with many referrals.”

The agency was recently named “Best Realtor” in the 2015 Best of Essex Readers’ Choice Awards, sponsored by Suburban Essex magazine, a lifestyle magazine published in northern N.J.

Sass added that the agency’s top performers will also receive the Top Quality Service Award from Century 21 Real Estate LLC at a national event in March.

The awards breakfast featured a slide show of hundreds of photos of the Century 21 Cedarcrest Realty staff at various fundraising events and activities they supported throughout the year as well as at awards banquets, office parties and other events.

“Community outreach and service is an important part of our culture here,” said Sass. In addition to fundraising for the Easter Seals and other non-profit organizations, the agency sponsors the no-kill Bloomfield Animal Shelter/John A. Bukowski Shelter for Animals and serves as a collection site for the rescue center’s wish list needs. The office was a drop-off site or the U.S. Marines’ annual Toys for Tots toy drive during the holiday season.
