For the past few years, the Mt. Olive Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Oliver Awards” have been an opportunity for members to showcase their promotional-related efforts and be recognized for them.
This year’s competition has been expanded to include a host of categories in all, from print, social media, branding, writing, web design, video, promotional items, advertisements, and signage.
“The idea is to give as many members as possible a chance to be recognized with an Oliver Award,” said Claudia Ehrgott, chair of the Olivers committee. “By expanding our categories to include the expansive ‘promotional’ mediums now out there they’ve got that opportunity.”
The awards event, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 2 at Wild West City in Byram Township, is targeted to business members only. Tickets are $30 which includes food. There is a cash bar. There will be special entertainment by the iconic Uncle Floyd.
The Mt. Olive Area Chamber of Commerce serves the Greater Mt. Olive area, including parts of Northwest Morris County, and Warren and Sussex counties.
