Preparations are under way for the much-anticipated Chester Lions Club Oktoberfest. The family affair presented for the 21st year will be better than ever.
Located at Chubb Park on Route 24 in Chester, the Oktoberfest committee invites all fun loving families to enjoy the many activities offered.
This year we will present a German Band that will be entertaining throughout the two day event. Spirited music and dancing will be featured for the enjoyment of the crowd.
For the hungry and thirsty, Oktoberfest will offer the finest German fair including Smoked Pork Chops (delicious), Bratwurst (scrumptious), German Potato Salad (Classic), Potato Pancakes (Crispy and Lite), and many other choices that will delight the pallet.
The highlight of the Oktoberfest are the many beers that will be available to please any critic.
Among the activities offered are the Antique Car Show featuring classics that will
delight as well as rides, bouncers and games that will charm youngsters of all ages. Spin Art, Sand Art, Bounce Houses, Slides and Obstacle Courses will generate broad smiles and loud laughter.
Located at Chubb Park, 1 mile west of Route 206 on Route 24 in Chester, the Oktoberfest will take place on September 28 and 29. Admission is $7.00 for adults, children under 12 are free. Parking is also free.
