Chester-Long Valley Rotary Celebrates 70 Years

The Chester-Long Valley Rotary is celebrating 70 years of service to the Chester and Long Valley communities.  The Club provides service to the communities in the form of equipment, such as, rescue dummy to the Chester Fire Company, rescue GPS to Chester First Aid Squad, backup generator to the Chester Senior Citizen housing, scholarships to graduating seniors, dictionaries to all third graders in both Chester and Long Valley, awards to Chester and Long Valley Middle Schools and sponsorship of Chester and Long Valley girls’ softball teams.

A volunteer service organization with a goal of providing services to both communities, the Chester-Long Valley Rotary is always looking for more volunteers.  Everyone is welcome to join. Rotary meets each first Thursday at NY Pizza in Chester at 6:30 p.m., remaining Thursday meetings at 11:45 a.m. at Redwoods.  Call Bill McGuire on 908-876-3584 for more information.
