Computer Programming Offered For Students In Whippanong Library

Students in grades six through nine will be introduced to computer programming by building a series of Python applications and games with text-based and graphical interfaces in the Whippanong Library.

The program will be held on Tuesdays, from Sept. 25 through Nov. 13.

By learning the basics of Python programming, students can expand their abilities to build even more complicated games using graphics, animation and sound.  The cost per student is $100 due by Sept. 25.

This program is made possible in part by a grant from FirstEnergy.  The Whippanong Library also gratefully acknowledges the Friends of the Library contribution to Design with Python.

Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, call the Whippanong Library at 973-428-2460.
