On Wed., March 30, the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance plans to feature at its
monthly educational meeting Dr. John J. Benjamin Davidman, a board certified psychiatrist who completed training at Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. His focus is on the integration of therapy and medications and his practice is in Soho, NY, and Summit.
His talk will be “Observations on Mood Disorders,” followed by questions and answers with the audience on all aspects of depression and bipolar disorder.
These educational meetings take place at 7:30 p.m., using the facilities of the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship in Morristown. The public is invited; a nominal donation is requested from non-members. Free literature is available to all attendees and there is an extensive lending library of educational CD’s, audiotapes, DVD’s and videotapes.
In addition to the lecture series, peer group support sessions led by experienced facilitators are
held every Tuesday evening of the month, also using the facilities of the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are always welcome. In addition, separate groups for family andFriends are held periodically and a young adult group every Tuesday evening.
