The Roxbury Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board members will brainstorm new library programs for kids and teens and recommend new book purchases for the library during a meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25. Snacks will be provided at the meeting, which is for students

On Sept. 26, Story Time At The Lake will be held at 11 a.m. in the Horseshoe Pavilion at Horseshoe Lake.
Story times will take place at the Pavilion and in the Rec Center gym November and December.

The Book was Better Teen Book Club will meet on Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the Roxbury Public Library. The group will discuss the monthly book and watch the movie based on it.
A Sensory Play event will take place Oct. 4 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the library.
Sensory play is play that stimulates a child’s senses – they will enjoy experiencing the world through smell, hearing and touch.

A Pumpkin Painting event will be held Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. in the library.
The event is for students in fifth grade or older. They will paint a pumpkin to get ready for Halloween.
