On Sat., Aug. 29, satisfy that craving for delicious food straight-from-the truck, ice cold beers, live music and a spectacular fireworks display at Turkey Brook Park in Budd Lake. Eighteen food trucks, multiple vendors, bounce houses, a beer garden and more are confirmed for the Food Trucks and Fireworks Festival in Mt. Olive,  from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Empanada Guy, Original Soupman, House of Cupcakes, Taxi Cab Burger, Coney Island Pizza and Maddalena’s Cheesecake are just a handful of the participating food trucks, offering everything from lobster bisque to mac n’ cheese. Graffiti Cannon will perform from the band stage and the fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m. Event admission is free, and it is only a $5 per car donation to the Budd Lake Fire Department for parking. Come early, bring an empty stomach and don’t forget to pack blankets and lawn chairs!
