The Mt. Olive Health Department will offer free female cancer screenings Oct. 3 in the Health Department’s Medical Clinic from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The screening includes a Thin-Prep Pat test, cervical and pelvic exam, manual breast exam and referral for a discounted mammogram.
Female residents of Mt. Olive, Netcong and Mount Arlington are welcome with preference given to those without insurance coverage.
Women aged 21 through 29 should have a Pap test every three years. Women aged 30 through 65 should have a Pap test every five years.
