Friends Of Laurelwood Arboretum To Host Children’s Butterfly Day

Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum will welcome families to a free Children’s Butterfly Day on Sunday, Aug.5 from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Laurelwood Arboretum in Wayne.
There will be a Butterfly Story Time for youngsters, fun butterfly crafts, face painting, a butterfly art project, live butterfly demonstrations and displays and tours through the sensory and pollinator gardens with Laurelwood’s executive director, Elaine Fogerty. .

Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum is the nonprofit organization that helps preserve and manage the 30+ acre arboretum in partnership with Wayne Township. Membership and donations help to support the park’s maintenance, operations and public programs.
