Randolph resident Michael Zeiger shared his Holocaust experiences in a special presentation to Shongum School fifth grade students in Bobbie Sobel’s Randolph classroom.
Zeiger spoke about the time he spent hiding in an underground bunker during World War II to escape the Nazis. Zeiger told the students about going five days without any food when Russian soldiers camped above
the bunker. He also spoke about living with bugs and in unsanitary conditions.
