Article Content: The Livingston Public Library announces 3 new programs for early 2019 in its “Its Your Business” series.
2 of these would be of specific interest to the small business community.
A Lunch and Learn workshop, entitled “Small Business and the New Tax Law” will be held on Thursday, January 24th from 1 pm-2.30pm.
Debbie Taylor of Taylor Financial Group and Brian Marchese, CPA will host a presentation on the many tax cuts available to small businesses owners under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) including how to qualify for the new business deduction and other ways to save money.
On Monday February 25, at 7 pm, Robert Stern, social media strategist, will present “Facebook for Business.”
He will go over how FB can be used to build a business, and create an engaging following, and how businesses can put to best use a FB Business page or group.
Another Lunch and Learn workshop entitled,
“The New Tax Act: 10 things you need to know” will be held on Wednesday February 6 from 1pm-2:30pm.
Debbie Taylor of Taylor Financial Group will share the latest updates, analyses and insights pertaining to the New Tax Act and how it will affect you, your family and business and on what you can do to maximize your tax benefits. “This will be a good primer for everybody the tax filing season and give important insights into this very complex piece of tax reform”, adds Librarian Archana, who has arranged for these programs.
