On Sat., Oct. 29, the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona plans to host Boo Fest, a costume dance party for children. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at H.B. Whitehorne Middle School Gym. Prizes will be awarded to the Best Costume and the Best Family Costume.
Admission for the event is $5 per person (with a $20 maximum per family.) Children under age 1 are free. Admission includes breakfast, live music at 9:30 a.m., a costume contest, and a pumpkin craft. Mini photo sessions will be available at an additional cost.
All proceeds will benefit the mission of the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona. The Juniors thank Hot Bagels-N-More, Preschool of Rock and Little Nest Photography for supporting the event.
The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona is a versatile organization that has been involved in social and charitable work since its inception in 1926. The Juniors address Verona’s diverse needs by promoting education, preserving natural resources, encouraging healthy lifestyles, working on behalf of the elderly and people with disabilities, supporting participation in the arts and advocating for issues of concern to women children and families.
