Roxbury High School Senior Emma Karnitsky was honored at the 25th Annual NJSIAA Scholar/Athlete Awards Program and Luncheon on May 20 in Edison.

Karnitsky was named the 2017/2018 NJSIAA Scholar Athlete and awarded a $500 scholarship. She is ranked in the top 10 of her class and lettered in both field hockey and lacrosse. She is also the Gaels’ all-time leading scorer in girls lacrosse.  

Emma plans to attend The College of New Jersey in the fall and signed her NCAA Division III  Celebratory Letter last month at Roxbury High School.
