The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club is pleased to announce that forward Braydon Sisco has signed a Standard Player Agreement (SPA) with the organization.

 Sisco, a 2009-born right-shot forward from Kinnelon, New Jersey, joins the Sting after an impressive season with the North Jersey Avalanche 16U AAA program. In 26 games during the 2025-26 season, the 5-foot-9, 161-pound forward recorded 23 goals and 31 assists for 55 points.

Sisco is a right-handed shooting forward who has drawn attention for his skill and potential as he continues to develop against higher levels of competition. 

Sisco’s rise accelerated in 2025 when he was selected by the Tri-City Storm with the 36th overall pick in the third round of the USHL Futures Draft. The USHL is widely regarded as the premier junior hockey league in the United States and has produced hundreds of NCAA and NHL players. During the 2025-26 season, Sisco appeared in three games with Tri-City, recording one goal and one assist for two points, giving him an early taste of junior hockey before returning to continue his development. 

In June 2026, Sisco took another significant step in his career by joining the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), one of the three leagues that make up the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The OHL is considered one of the world’s top developmental leagues for NHL prospects, and Sisco’s move places him among many of the best players in his age group. The Sting announced his addition after he spent the previous season with the North Jersey Avalanche 16U AAA program, where he continued to develop his offensive game and prepare for the jump to major junior hockey. 

Although Sisco is still in the early stages of his junior career and has limited official statistics, his progression from New Jersey youth hockey to the USHL and now the OHL highlights the confidence teams have in his long-term potential. As he begins his first full season with Sarnia, he will look to establish himself as an impact forward while continuing to build toward future opportunities at the professional level. 

 “Braydon is a player who brings offensive skill, hockey sense, and a strong work ethic to the ice,” said Sarnia Sting GM, Dylan Seca. “We’re excited to welcome him and his family to the Sting organization and look forward to supporting his development.”

 Sisco expressed his excitement about beginning his OHL journey in Sarnia.
