Explaining how the Autism Center at Caldwell University has grown, Dr. Sharon Reeve was the speaker at the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex meeting at the Cloverleaf Restaurant on March 3. The members were excited to hear about the impact that the Center has had, and continues to have, as people come from around the world for the assistance they can find here.
Reeve has been executive director of the center since its inception, as well as being the department chair, professor, and graduate coordinator of applied behavior analysis (ABA) at Caldwell University and, along with her colleagues, she was one of the founders of New Jersey’s first master’s and doctoral degree programs in behavior analysis.
Since Kiwanis’ focus is on children and their needs they continue to support and initiate such programs that raise the public’s awareness of children and family needs. For additional information about Kiwanis, go to www.caldwellkiwanis.com.
