Dr. Patrick J. Owens is scheduled to present “The Lake Denmark Explosion” on Tue., Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Garabrant Center in Mendham. His narrated and visual presentation brings to life the explosion that took place at the Lake Denmark Naval Ammunitions Depot on Jul. 10, 1926. It was an explosion that caused extreme damage at both the Depot and Picatinny Arsenal. This free event is sponsored by The Mendham Borough Historical Society and is open to the public.
