Madison Plans Spooky Fun

The Madison Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Development Commission and the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corp invite residents to an evening of spooky fun for the entire family on Fri., Oct. 28 from, 6 p.m.-7 p.m.

Families are invited to bring their carved pumpkins to the front steps of the Hartley Dodge Memorial Bldg. where they will be displayed and illuminated at 6:45 p.m.  Battery operated candles will be provided for illumination.  Pumpkins will be returned to their owners after the event.

In addition to the Pumpkin Illumination, the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Corp. invites everyone to their first Annual Trunk or Treat to take place in the parking lot adjacent to the Hartley Dodge Memorial Bldg.

Participants are encouraged to decorate the inside of their car trunks in a creative theme and allow

children dressed in costume to trick or treat from trunk to trunk.  Please note parents are responsible

for checking all candy for children with allergies.

Admission will be $10 per car.  Walk-in trick or treaters are asked to make a minimum donation of $2

per person.  All proceeds from the Trunk or Treat event will benefit the Madison Volunteer Ambulance

Corps.

Prizes will be awarded for “Best Decorated Trunk” in several categories such as scariest, cutest and most creative.
