The Madison Rotary invites area Rotarians and the public to attend its evening meeting and meet Diane Salvatore, editor-in-chief of Consumer Reports magazine, on Sept. 20.
She will explain how the pro-consumer nonprofit tests and rates hundreds of products in its labs, as well as how the organization advocates for consumer protection from manufacturers and regulatory bodies.
Consumer Reports is the fifth largest magazine in the country in terms of circulation, reaching about 3.7 million readers.
The meeting will take place at Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse, Chatham Township, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
