Mendham Twp. Library has some interested programs planned in the next few months.
Learn about FBI: Consumer Fraud on Tuesday, July 31, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Meet an FBI Special Agent to learn about consumer fraud and how to avoid it; learn what to do to avoid being victimized; understand the different ways criminals are trying to scam people using the internet and phone; discuss ways to protect oneself and how to be protected.
Paint on Canvas on Thursday, August 23, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Meet artist Carla Carfora to learn techniques to paint a beach scene and then paint on canvas. All supplies provided. No experience necessary and all levels are welcome.
Donations are gladly accepted at this program.
Jackie Kennedy Onassis: Preservation and Grace, an American Legacy will be be presented on Thursday, September 6, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. She was a Kennedy; she was an Onassis; her enduring legacy would be her force of nature that was Jacqueline.
As a young mother she was catapulted onto the World Stage when her husband John F. Kennedy became the 35th President of the USA. Her work helped bring about the Historic Preservation Act of 1966: the most far-reaching preservation legislation ever enacted in the
United States.
A great American Legacy, she who wore many hats. This program is funded by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities
