The Gifted & Talented program at Netcong School got a lesson in how detectives solve crimes on Mon., May 23. Detectives from the Morris County Sherriff’s Department demonstrated for third through eighth grade the steps taken when investigating a crime scene.
The students were very interested in all the different methods detectives use, such as molds for shoe prints, fingerprinting, dogs, and evidence collected to solve crimes. The detectives also brought the crime scene truck and students were allowed to walk around to look in all the different compartments. The students were fascinated and loved the demonstration.
