The Morris County School of Technology’s (MCST) Physical Education teacher, Kristen Maday, was awarded the New Jersey Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NJAHPERD) High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year Award.
Maday is a teacher who is a positive role model epitomizing personal health and fitness, enjoyment of activity, and sensitivity to the physical and emotional needs of all students. She participates in professional development opportunities and provides service to the profession through advocacy.
“Kristen Maday is a devoted teacher who consistently brings out the best in her students and colleagues,” said MCST Principal Lynne Jackson. “On behalf of the district, we congratulate her on this well-deserved award.”
Maday will be honored at the NJAHPERD Virtual Awards Banquet on February 22.
