Morris Plains Municipal Alliance To Present Program On Preparing For College

Parents of high school juniors and seniors, ready for teens to go to college?  Are they ready to be on their own?
The Morris Plains Municipal Alliance invites parents to this important presentation: How to Prepare for the Transition from High School to College
Wed., May 4, 7 p.m.- 9 p.m., at the Morristown High School Auditorium.

This presentation will focus on: the impact of the first six weeks freshman year; how to plan for a successful transition; substance use on college campuses; mental health concerns; preparing for academic success; resources, educational efforts and intervention

Audra J. Tonero of Cross-Street Counseling will present. Tonero is a practicing clinician with more than 20 years’ experience working with adolescents,
young adults and adults with mental health and substance use concerns.

For the past 15 years Audra has worked with high school seniors and college students creating and implementing plans for success.
