Mount St. Dominic Academy held its 124th annual commencement on Sunday, June 2 and among the graduates were eighteen West Essex residents.
Caldwell residents include: Lily Coyle will be attending Syracuse University, Alexa Murray will be attending Sacred Heart University, Marisa Novak will be attending University of Tennessee, and Faith Waldron will be attending Fairfield University.
Essex Fells residents include: Lauren Dwyer will be attending University of Notre Dame, Bryanna Pita will be attending Fairfield University, Audrey Smith will be attending University of Pittsburgh, and Eva Whelan will be attending Providence College.
North Caldwell residents include: Amanda Berger will be attending University of Tampa, Jessica Sanderson will be attending Tufts University, and Michaela Smith will be attending University of Tampa.
Roseland residents include: Isabel Buono will be attending Lehigh University and Luciana DelGuerico will be attending Montclair State University.
West Caldwell residents include: Molly Burke will be attending St. Joseph’s University, Cara Galvano will be attending Elon University, Mia Galvano will be attending College of Charleston, Theresa Morrissey will be attending Fairfield University, and Maura Mulvihill will be attending Fordham University.
The graduating class of 71 students has a 100% college acceptance rate and has been accepted at 140 schools. The students were awarded over $11 million in scholarships and grants.
