NCJW/Essex Center for Women Makes an Impact in the Community

The Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women runs many diversified programs for women throughout the year. They sponsor a career services center, offering multi-faceted assistance such as career counseling, interview training, food and personal care items for those clients in need, and a “Career Closet” of business attire. They provide a wide range of nonsectarian, free and low-cost services designed to boost self-esteem and empower clients when they need it most.
NCJW/Essex also hosts a variety of interesting speakers and programs, which are held at the NCJW/Essex Center for Women 70 South Orange Avenue, Suite 120 Livingston. Registration is required and open to all women
in the community. Their ongoing schedule of educational activities and training for women include computer classes and workshops, and offer referrals for women veterans, legal consultations, peer support groups for children and a teen dating awareness program.
For additional information about their programs and registration call 973-994-4994 or visit www.centerforwomenNJ.org.
