Take the first step toward improving your life! The Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women offers many diversified low cost or no cost programs for all women throughout the year regardless of religious affiliation or ethnic background.
Their Career Services Program offers vocational coaching with one-on-one meetings, workshops and support groups that are designed to help women prepare to return to the workforce or make a career change. They help with goal setting, career planning, resume writing, interviewing skills and job search strategies. Computer classes, legal guidance, and self-empowerment workshops through its RISE program are also available. The RISE program – Reaching into Self-Empowerment – is lead by professional staff and trained volunteers who teach life skills and strategies to improve self-esteem.
