Netcong School Features Framed Art

Netcong School held its annual art show on May 19. This year all students had a framed piece of art in the show. Britt Huss, Art teacher in Netcong, used a company called Artome to create the amazing display of artwork.

Artome works with schools to provide students the opportunity to see their artwork displayed as if in a “real” art show. Artome provides the school with paper, students create drawings and paintings on the paper provided.  The artwork is then shipped back to Artome. The company frames all of the artwork and sends a representative to set up the students art work on display racks the day of the show. Often, this is the first time a child has seen his or her artwork professionally framed and on display. This special moment creates a life-long memory for both the art student and parents. This is the “Artome Experience”.  The framed artwork can be purchased the night of the art show.

This year Netcong School raised $550, with proceeds going to the Netcong School Art Department.
