Netcong School Wears Red

To raise awareness among local women that heart disease is their number one health threat, Netcong Elementary School wore red on National Wear Red Day, Fri., Feb. 5. Staff paid $5 to wear jeans and all proceeds will be donated to the organization. Netcong School staff raised $130.

According to Chief School Administrator, Dr. Gina Cinotti, “Our school Wear Red Day is a great opportunity to reach out to women in our community and alert them to their personal risk factors for heart disease. By joining together we can raise awareness locally about heart disease and help lead women on the path to prevention.”
