On November 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Passaic County Department of Senior Services, Disability, Veteran’s Affairs, and Preakness Healthcare Center will be hosting Caring for You: A Caregiver Appreciation Day. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. The event will be held at Preakness Healthcare Center at 305 Oldham Road, Wayne.
Guest speakers will include Shelley Steiner, LSW and Support Group Coordinator for Alzheimer’s New Jersey, Heather Shasa, Retail Registered Dietician at ShopRite of Little Falls, Beth O’Connor, Regional Manager of Veterans Home Care LLC, and Eric Goldberg, Esq. of Mandelbaum Salsburg.
