Meet Opal from Eleventh Hour Rescue. Opal is a very sweet Pit Bull Terrier mix who is about five years old. She is deaf but doesn’t let that stop her from loving life! This pretty girl came to Eleventh Hour from a shelter in Florida where she was at risk of being euthanized. Opal quickly became a volunteer favorite, but kennel life is starting to take its toll on her. She is a high-energy dog who will need a family to give her the exercise she needs. Opal is crate-trained and housetrained and is working on her basic commands using hand signals. She is a very intelligent girl who loves playing with her toys and can keep herself entertained if necessary. She loves going for walks and is working on her leash manners. She also enjoys being outside and rides very well in the car. Opal would prefer to be the only dog in the house, and would love to find a patient foster or owner that will help her flourish.
