Preschool Advantage held its 20th Anniversary Golf Invitational at Morris County Golf Club. For 20 years, supporters of the Morristown non-profit have enjoyed a day of golf while raising funds for preschool tuition for three- and four-year olds in our community. The success of this year’s event was due to the tremendous commitment of the many sponsors, participants and volunteers.
Tournament Sponsors for this milestone event were PNC Bank and Normandy Real Estate Partners.
“We are so grateful for the ongoing support of these wonderful organizations,” said Molly Dunn, Executive Director of Preschool Advantage. The Morris County Golf Club was a beautiful setting for the delicious lunch before 86 golfers set off for an afternoon of challenging, but fun, golfing. Cocktail hour, which attendees had the opportunity to bid on rounds of golf at many of the premier clubs in the are, was followed by dinner. A 50/50 raffle to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event raised $10,000 for tuitions.
Proceeds from the day spent with friends, clients and prospective business contacts will provide funding for preschool tuitions for 18 children for the coming school year. Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers who made the day a great success.
